Frequently Asked Questions

Why should we do the trek in a non-touristic area?

There are so many trekking areas that other trekking companies will guide you to, where many tourist footprints are already there.  But the area that we take you to, we can ensure you that the trail you walk will take you back in time!

What kind of food do we eat?

A day before your trip, we will meet you at your hotel or somewhere convenient for you to meet us and have a discussion with you about the tour.  We will talk about what are your food preferences (food allergies, level of spiciness, etc.) And we will make sure to take care of that during the program.

What should I bring for the tour?

Since we provide you the clothes for taking care of the elephants, you can always bring your swimsuit, towel, flip flops, sunscreen and bug spray. Change of clothes and some good pair of shoes or sandals that you do not mind getting wet or dirty. If you have any allergies or any minor health conditions but still can go on with the trek, please bring your own medications.

What will I experience?

The trekking trail will take you to a hidden village in the jungle where you stay overnight located in the mountains., as high as 2,100 meters above sea level.  we will enjoy dinner in the candlelight and you can experience the way local people lived under the bright night sky that will make you feel like you are going to reach out for the stars.

I have never trekked before. Is that a problem?

We have different programs for you to choose from and we can also customize the tour for you depending on your level. But by all means, anyone can do the trekking,  except for minors below 7 years of age are not allowed to join the program.

Can I ride on the elephants?

Our program does not support riding and it is also not good for the elephants to be ridden by humans.
